THE HONEY SUITE
Like bees in a hive that come and go, the owner of this apartment is always on the move.
Nevertheless - or per haps precisely because of this - it is important to them that there is more than just a pragmatically designed second home waiting in Munich.
The “Honey Suite” apartment designed by Gisbert Pöppler is an emotional retreat for a modern nomad. On the roof terrace, the city beekeeper keeps bees and enjoys the unobstructed view over the big city. The living space also reflects the openness and generosity of its owner and is a t the same time - with the silvery iridescent curtain by Le Manach hugging the walls of the sleeping area - a place of rest. The armchair Junior, whiskytable Walker is like the table Belenus part of Gisbert Pöppler own furniture collection. The sofa designed specifically for the corner situation in the project is as well as the bed custom-made by Gisbert Pöppler.
The furniture reflects the quality standards of the Berlin interior architect, it is made exclusively by hand in manfactures in Germany and France.
In the present design, the pieces are deliberately restrained in their colorfulness. Fabrics in natural tones, combined with oak wood, correspond with the muted shimmering metallic wallcolors from Ressource.
